Canabiosan is the German Cannabis Standard, pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis production, born underground and made in Germany.
First mover advantage: one of only three federally licensed operators allowed to cultivate medical cannabis in Germany, executed as a model project with Humboldt University Berlin and in close cooperation with K+S, Germany's leading potash and salt mining group.
Production takes place 750 meters below ground in a decommissioned salt mine in the middle of Germany. Geothermal energy keeps the climate at a stable 28°C, no fossil fuels, drastically lower CO2 emissions. Complete isolation below ground means zero pests, zero pesticides, higher product quality, and special strains that competitors cannot offer. 750 meters of impenetrable stone provide the security other growers spend millions on.
Unit economics: production cost target of €0.70 per gram at 30,000 m² scale (down from €1.35/g at 1,000 m²), with build-out cost dropping from €8,000/m² to €2,033/m² along the same scale curve.
